Which profession to choose
7 key aspects from growing rich professions
You have to like it: it makes no sense if you spend your time doing something you hate. The more you like it, the better you'll be on it, and the easier it will be to wake up every morning. There's not a worse feeling than waking up at 8 o'clock in the morning and wishing desperately it was 5 o'clock evening (I've been there).
You should need a paper for it: I personally have a degree in advertising, but a lot of people work in the advertising industry and have no degree. You are competing with a lot of people. If you want to be a doctor, you have to study medicine. If you want to be a lawyer, you have to study law. You compete only with law graduates, or medicine graduates. In a field like advertising you compete almost with everyone that wants to work in the industry, and that means you could end up working for peanuts.

If you want to progress within such an industry you'll be asked to go the extra mile, in exchange you "may" get a promotion. Don't be fool, work for money not for promises. Make sure you get paid for every minute you work.

In every city or town people live in houses and things get broken and not everyone knows how to repair them... That will give you freedom, and the option to go somewhere else when things are not looking good in a certain city/town.
One-person show: Start Small, Think Big. You should be able to set up your own business as soon as possible, be your own boss. If the business grow you can always employ more people to work for you.
Have a look to the job market: is there any industry that faces shortage of workers? The less people wanting to do the job, the more money you can ask for.
Cross-industry profession: there are certain jobs needed in all industries. The best example is "accountant", as an accountant you could work in every industry. You can then decide what industry suits you more, which one pay more, which one has the best work/life balance,...
